Lisa has been at Capital City Preschool for 16 years. Lisa strongly believes in the importance of Early Childhood Education and is passionate about photography and technology. Lisa believes in using technology to enhance and extend children’s interests and to promote reflective thinking.
Debi is our Centre Manager and has been a teacher at Capital City Preschool for the past 14 years. Debi is a fantastic artist and her creativity helps children to express themselves through their artwork.
Diane has been a teacher at Preschool for 13 years and has a passion for literacy. Diane has an amazing collection of children’s stories and engages children in the wonderful worlds stories open up.
Kristina has been teaching for 9 years, 5 of those at Capital City Preschool. Kristina is passionate about literacy and helping children develop to be confident learners through social interactions, and Music and Movement.
Katie joined the team in January 2019. Katie has a passion for exploring imaginative play and play-based learning, highlighting and exploring all the fundamental knowledge and skills children learn through their play. Katie uses children’s passions to drive their learning. She also strongly believe in the importance of building strong, reciprocal relationships with tamariki and their whanau.
Julia joined the team in December 2018. Julia’s teaching philosophy is guided by the Reggio Emilia approach. Julia believes in building respectful relationships with her teaching team, whanau and children, and wider community. Julia is a creative teacher, and enjoys art education, physical play and developing children’s social competency.
